they want you here. Then they want to keep you in the trap to pay you way less than the market, and ruin your career (no promotions, no career change, nothing - just keep hacking away at the computer, and the boss takes the credit/money).

I second...no need to panic....let's start doing what they're doing on the last week of September if we don't get our receipts....just kidding...
I guess a well package application gets the nod for Receipting very fast while poorly package ones may face stricter scrutiny at the mailroom. Another thing, the mailing room is also sorting out applications to be retained at its service center and those that need to be transferred to other service centers.

- check box for client name
- click 'submit' button
- enter 'Immigration Voice' in the client name
- click 'submit' button
Now you see the amount spent by IV for lobbying in the Senate documents. Please do the total and let me know how much is that amount. I am not "highly skilled" like you, so I can't calculate?
Do you know anyone who spent 1/2 million on lobbying for our issues. Maybe your friends have spent that money.

Sanju my friend, why sarcasm ? This is such wonderful information, why can't this be made more public, posted in a prominent position on IV ? Why should members do research to get this info when it can be relatively easily acquired by Quinn Gillespie & Assoc and given to core ? Come on man, a little bit of information like this goes a long way with members.

ok. Assuming BILL pass during the lame-duck session... what is timeline for it take effect? I believe the president has to signed it and it take 90 days from that date to be effective? Experts?
Any stratergic ideas, if positive news does not come out during the lame duck session?
I did not know it takes 90 days; that is too long a period of time. But nobody is hopeful of the bill getting passed during the lame-duck session.

i guess ur fine. My collegue here won similar case in NJ. I am sure they'll pay u if u put little pressure on them. I would think twice before i report him to DOL & DHS only the reason being it might affect all other employees that are currently working for your previous company. If they don't pay u, i guess u have no choice to go for a fomal complaint.

Man, this website relieves my stress as it makes me realize that there are people whole lot depressed than I am , and it puts my life into perspective. Stress is only a state of mind.

We filed our application on 5/31. Reached USCIS on 6/1.
Our attorney office informed us some of checks got cashed for some of us( whose 140 is pending not yet cashed) but still none of us received notice letter. Those who got early receipts may be lucky. But I think 3 weeks are reasonable. Since we are current for next month also we no need to be panic on receipts.

I think the above statement is correct. There are 1000s of EB3 I folks in IV and they could have very well contributed a quarter or even a million bucks. My question is, what will happen after that?

It is really sad to hear that. I am no expert by any means but assuming that you are still a young family (say in mid thirties), I would suggest that unless your family is financially secure and have other family members here in the USA to lean on, I will suggest to at least consider the option of going back, irrespective of what the outcome of you green card process may be.

Nope, I haven't got the receipt nos for one set of checks yet, I guess people filing with TSC are getting receipt nos & also the notices.I know few friends of mine got thier notices too
