Great!! People are already talking about the flowers to USCIS. By the way, there are flower websites, with same day delivery.
I have convinced a few people at work to do this. Their point is, if we really want to do this, let's do it in a way that works. After receiving a few deliveries, USCIS will get the idea and direct it's lobby security to refuse all further flower deliveries. What's our plan for that situation?
How did the people who delivered nuts to CBS make it happen? The delivery was actually done via UPS. It's difficult to refuse a UPS packet in the security lobby! Should we send chocolates via UPS instead? It will be much more difficult to refuse deliveries of chocolates.

A relative has invited me to be an immigrant to Manitoba. But currently we are derivative beneficiaries of my wife's EB3 visa and she is already in the US for 1 1/2 years as a lawful permanent resident.
I would like to ask what would be the effect on our US PR visa application and to my wife's green card status if I apply for a permanent residency in Canada?

100% correct. I guess its human. If you did not file for 485 in Jul 07, people want to file when PD is not current. For people who filed and are waiting, want the backlog cleared. People who have GC are "worried" about getting citizenship :). People who just came in, are worried about they PERM/140 approvals.

This section specifies anyone caught in the backlog would be able to pay $500 to adjust status... So your husband is ok (again, should this SKIL ever become reality)
However, I am confused this section 205 falls into Title II, "Retaining Foreign Workers Educated in the United States". Section 205 does not read like anything to do with a degree in the US..

"Are you sure?, have you got the cards yet?, Did you finish biometrics?" Some eb3 folks said "We will get ours too, some issue with finger prints , my husband's boss is very close to the congressman and we have influence in INS", some say "Your lawyer did some magic" etc.....
People carry such mindsets, it is difficult to bring about awareness and change.

We will each individually send flowers to Emilio Gonzalez to be delivered July 10th. There is a suggestion to use a paypal account where we contribute money. However no one has come forward to take over the account so far.

Thank you, texcan. FP may not be requierd for EAD renewal or first-time EAD? Mine is first time EAD. So, eseentially no FP yet for 485 (filed August 07) and first time EAD (this August)!

Hi SKK, it is not really required to have finger printed to get teh EAD approval. (i am talking aboutthe first time EAD). Your FP may come later on. At least in my case it was like that. I got my EAD approval first and later on only the FP came. Hope this helps ...

Senators and congressman in MN are not very helpful I guess, first they told me wait one month and if I dont hear anything then they will send a request, after one month I called them up to find out whether they can help, that guy in senator office told me to wait 6 more months.
It's not like my case is lost or in transit or not assigned to an officer, it is assigned to an officer on june 29th, officer at infopass said may be the officer who has my file have more old cases compare to others.

Iam a July 3rd filer and the moneyorders for me and my wife has been cashed on September 28th. We had send 2 moneyorders for $745. Waiting for the receipts to come. Hope all of you get your receipts very soon.
Very sorry guys!!But all the information that I got from lawyer's office was wrong. They did not send my I-485 on July 2nd as I thought. When I got the receipts the received date was July 20th. Receipts are from Texas. I hope you all get your receipts soon.

I dont *****ing care if they are under pressure... they still have to follow the guideliens.... just an analogy... just because ur under pressure to reach work on time... doesnt give you the liberty to speed... u still have to follow the speed limits... whatever.... i am just damn frustrated with this whole mess
